homefront runs on the HTPC plugged into the TV and ties Home Assistant, Jellyfin, an LG webOS TV and Windows itself into one real-time dashboard. The house is drawn as a floor plan in the brand's own line style, each room glowing with the actual colour temperature and brightness of its bulbs; lights dim when a video starts and restore exactly when it stops. The remote streams the HTPC's screen so you tap what you see to click it, and a kiosk HLS player plays the Jellyfin library on the TV, controlled from your phone with progress synced back. A .NET 10 minimal API talks to Windows directly (media sessions, Core Audio, SendInput, screen capture) and pushes state over WebSockets to a no-build Preact front end, shipping as a single self-contained executable with guest passes, scenes and an ambient TV mode.
