Website and telehealth booking for a family medical practice. Patients pick a slot and pay by mobile money; the doctor confirms and calls them on WhatsApp. Bilingual, with patient details encrypted at rest.
Built for a small family practice. The public site is a static Astro build on Cloudflare Workers with dark mode, a second language and structured data for search. The booking app is a separate Hono Worker with server-rendered pages and a D1 database in the EU jurisdiction, chosen to meet the local data protection law. Patients choose video or voice, a time and their medical aid; prices follow medical aid and first-or-follow-up rules, and a follow-up is only accepted after a consultation in the previous three days, matched by a keyed HMAC of the ID number so the number is never stored in readable form. Sensitive fields are AES-GCM encrypted, the admin sits behind Cloudflare Access, and scheduled jobs send hourly reminders and a morning digest, expire unconfirmed requests and purge records after 12 months. Cancellations, partial refunds and rescheduling are tracked through to the doctor's inbox. A push deploys both Workers and applies database migrations automatically.
